Why Personal Pilates. Who is the appropriate Instructor for you? Part 2

How does it benefit? – Is it expensive?

Personal training is a lifetime investment. It is about a training that you provide to your body and you carry it to ease you for a life. Honor your body.The benefits of Personal Pilates cannot simply be described in a few words. I will try to give you the final feeling but I urge you to try some Personal Pilates lessons so that you can feel it by yourself in your body.

“Fixed” to your own body

First of all, it is understandable that in a Personal Pilates training the trainer designs a specialized and personalized workout program cut and sewn to your own body proportions, your own body shaping, your own fitness level, and the capabilities of your body. So, even the first lesson is fixed to your own measures. On the contrary, in a massive Pilates program, it goes without saying that this is not happening just with the first lesson, it is not just happening because of the many people but it can take weeks, months or even years -for someone who cannot feel his body-to understand his personal needs.
The time that a result is seen in someone’s body is immediate. My athletes have called me to tell me that they noticed that where they were they used to walk slightly “with a hump” after the first lesson they were walking upright, more restful and without getting tired.

Specialized Breathing

Whoever does Pilates without following the specific breath of Pilates simply does not work out Pilates. Very important is breathing in Pilates. And in a Personal Pilates lesson is the first thing we learn. You understand, of course, that in a mass sports program that someone can start in the middle of the season, it will be difficult to get familiar with breathing immediately. But why do all the trainers point out so much the breath? Because if you do not do the exercises correctly you will get injured.

You will not understand the injury by the first time, but after a few months when you may locate pain in the lumbar spine, the knees or shoulder joints. In addition, if you are generally well-trained you may find that you are not seeing improvement in your body with Pilates. (There may be other reasons clearly, but here I analyze this subject). Also, if you do not have proper breathing in conjunction with the Pilates kinesiology, your body will never assimilate the concept of coordination – flexibility – concentration – of sculpture of the body. That is, you will not work out Pilates. If you are of course interested in cultivating these particular pilates elements.

Personal Training as a complementary training

Also, one can make Personal Pilates training either complementary to another major workout or for a while to boost himself. It’s like foreign language lessons. You take your personal tutor, you learn your language correctly, and then you read comfortably, travel, communicate with others in this language. One can choose the Personal Trainer to develop a better body awareness or simply saying that he can develop the ability to judge by himself whether or not he does an exercise properly. Another advantage of Personal Pilates is that you can plan yourself based on your schedule when you will train. So if you have a full day schedule or a complicated daily schedule then Personal Pilates is for you. Because you can schedule the days and hours you want to practice and where you can get the most out of your workout. Think about how many times you did not go to the gym because you were tired or you went to your lesson and you were just “crawling”. At Personal Pilates you choose the most efficient hours.

Is it Expensive?

Personal Pilates may seem expensive to you. But I guarantee you that will discover that the money you invest will be far less than the short and long term benefits.
